John Y. Choi, M.D.
Dr. John Choi is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal, macular and vitreous disease. He grew up in Kokomo, Indiana. From there he graduated with honors from Stanford University then attended Yale Medical School. After switching from orthopedic surgery, Dr. Choi completed an ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University then advanced vitreoretinal training at a Harvard Medical School-affiliated program and at The National Retina Institute. He has conducted research, published multiple articles and reviewed articles for a leading ophthalmology journal. Outside of work, Dr. Choi enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife and two young children.
